Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Happy Heart - Blood Pressure app ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Your privacy is central to how the app is built: your health data stays on your device and in services you control. We do not operate servers that collect your readings, and we do not sell or share your data.

Information the app handles

Health readings you enter or import. The app stores the blood-pressure readings you record — systolic, diastolic, pulse, date and time, notes, and how a reading was captured (manual, Bluetooth cuff, or Apple Health). This information is created by you and stored on your device.

We do not collect personal identifiers. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or account sign-up, and it does not track your location.

Where your data is stored

We do not transmit your readings to any server operated by us or by any third party.

Bluetooth

If you connect a Bluetooth blood-pressure cuff, the app uses Bluetooth solely to receive readings from that cuff. Readings received over Bluetooth are stored on your device just like readings you enter manually. Bluetooth is used only while the app is open.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

The app uses Apple's HealthKit framework only to store the readings you record and, if you choose, to import readings already in Apple Health. HealthKit data is never used for advertising, is never sold, and is never shared with third parties. HealthKit data is not sent off your device by the app.

Analytics and tracking

The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not build a profile of you and do not use the App Tracking Transparency identifier.

Subscriptions and purchases

Any optional purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details or billing information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Because your readings are stored on your device (and, if enabled, Apple Health), you are in control of them. You can delete individual readings in the app at any time, and you can remove all data by deleting the app. Health data written to Apple Health can be managed or deleted in the Health app.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
