Privacy Policy

Sniffle · Last updated October 1, 2026

Sniffle shows pollen and allergy information for places you choose. We collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.

What leaves your phone

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep short-lived technical logs, such as request times and errors, for security and troubleshooting.

What stays with you

Your triggers, daily check-ins, saved places, alert settings and Insights are kept on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, they're also kept in your own iCloud account, so they come back if you reinstall Sniffle or get a new iPhone. We never receive them. To delete your check-ins and Insights history from your iPhone and iCloud, open Insights in the app and tap Clear My History. Deleting the app removes the copy on your phone but not the one in iCloud.

Pollen data from Google

Pollen data comes from the Google Maps Platform Pollen API. Our server sends Google the center of the area being looked up, not your location or any information about you. Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.

What we don't do

No accounts, no ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of personal data.

Children

Sniffle isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
